Three Clovis teenagers are suspects in what Clovis police call a series of auto burglaries.
According to a release from the department, there had been a rash of auto and home burglaries in the northeast area of Clovis before an officer came across a suspect vehicle with expired tags.
During field interviews with the teens, it was determined they were responsible for the burglaries and stolen property was recovered after the execution of search warrants, the press release stated.
Interviewed so far are two 16-year-old males and one 17-year-old male, who are facing charges of felony auto and residential burglary, misdemeanor criminal damage, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
Following interviews, they were released to their parents, according to the release. Arrest warrants are pending.
The investigation is ongoing and the department anticipates multiple charges will result in connection to the burglaries.
