The Eastern Plains Council Board of Directors will appoint Nick Brady as the organization’s next executive director at today’s board meeting, according to outgoing executive director Leland Tillman.
Brady, EPCOG deputy director, has worked with the organization for seven years.
“It’s going to give me an opportunity to continue to work with the people in the area,” said Brady who worked at the Chamber of Commerce and La Casa Family Health Centers. “My goal is to continue the work that Lee has built in the last 33 years.”
Tillman is retiring in July after serving as the executive director nearly 33 years.
EPCOG is a publicly-funded association designed to assist local governments with planning and economic development, according to Tillman.
Brady’s annual salary will be $70,000.
