The Curry County Federated Republican Women met May 13.
The meeting was called to order at 11:30 a.m.. The prayer was offered by Carolyn Shipley and the pledge by all present.
Rep. Anna Crook spoke for a moment about Senate Bill 2123, which would make EMT unionization mandatory, and asked that everyone contact their senator to urge them not to support the bill.
Recognition went to LaVonn Guthals for her work at the candidate forum held last month. There were 16 candidates running for office who participated.
