Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
About 5 p.m. Wednesday an officer responded to a home in the 1400 block of Edwards for a harassment report.
A man said he had gone to a restaurant on Prince Street after seeing a commercial advertising a special.
He said the employees told him the special wasn’t honored in their store and a group of male employees called him names when he asked for a phone number for management.
A store employee told the officer when the man was told the special was on another day of the week, he became agitated and made offensive gestures at employees.
The officer noted none of the employees matched the description the man gave.
