Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
Police made a traffic stop at 4:35 p.m. Saturday between Seventh and Sandoval streets for red and blue lights around the license plate.
The driver gave a name and date of birth that could not be verified.
When police verified his identity, they arrested the 21-year-old man on charges of concealing identity and driving on a revoked Texas driver’s license.

As the result of a traffic stop at 1:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Ninth and Main streets, police arrested an 18-year-old man on charges of driving while intoxicated, open container and minor permitting self to be served.
The man also was arrested for child abuse because he had a 14-year-old boy in his vehicle.

Police responded to a report of a burglary at 2:42 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Wilmington.
A friend of the residents told police he found the lock on the back door broken when he went to check on the house. A drawer from a dresser and $87 in cash and change was reported missing.
