Notes: The Zias are coming off a 66-60 win at home on Saturday over Texas A&M-Kingsville, snapping a nine-game losing streak. … The Wildcats beat No. 12 West Texas A&M 71-66 in overtime on Thursday, then had to battle back for a 64-62 win over Texas Woman’s on Saturday, both at home. … Audrey Maxwell, a 6-0 junior C, posted 26 points and 18 rebounds against WT en route to South player of the week honors. She leads Abilene Christian in scoring (17.1 ppg) and rebounging (9.3 rpg). Others averaging in double figures in scoring are 5-5 senior G Alex Guiton (14.2) and 5-11 junior F Kristee Davidson (11.0). … Abilene Christian handed the Zias a 91-61 loss on Jan. 22 in Abilene.
