Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
– Police responded to a report of burglary and larceny at 1:15 a.m. Feb. 4 in the 300 block of Wallace Street.
The resident told police someone entered his home sometime between 11 p.m. Monday and the time of the report. The back door of the residence appeared to have been forced open. Missing items included a flatscreen TV, DVD player and about 70 DVDs.
Estimated value of the missing items was $1,500.
– Police responded to a report of burglary at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 4 in the 1200 block of Comer Drive.
The resident told police his former girlfriend had entered his house during the day and taken clothes belonging to him. A neighbor said said she had seen the ex-girlfriend taking clothes out of the house that afternoon.
Estimated value of the clothes was $746.
– Police responded to a report of burglary at 11 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 400 block of Hull Street.
Police found that the back door had been forced open, a bedroom “ransacked” and furniture moved.
Missing items included a laptop computer and a digital camera, with a total estimated value of $485.
