This is a quick, delicious and cheap meal. This is also great the next day, if you have any left.
Bacon and Spaghetti
3 or 4 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 to one onion, chopped (depends on how much you like onion)
2 cloves garlic, crushed
I pound spaghetti
1 large can tomato juice
Salt and pepper
Parmesan cheese, if desired
Borwn bacon in skillet. Take out bacon and put on paper towel. Add onions and saute until soft. Add garlic.
In the meantime, cook 1 pound spaghetti (you can use macaroni or other pasta if you want) until al dente. Drain.
Add bacon to onion and garlic. Add about 1/2 can of the tomato juice. Let simmer for about 10 minutes stirriing occasionally. Add pasta and let cook until pasta is done. You may have to add more tomato juice. Salt and pepper to taste.
