Texico High School and Logan High School have been recognized as among the best high schools in the nation by U.S. News and World Report, according to a news release.
Sen. Pete Domenici, R-N.M., recognized the schools, along with 14 other New Mexico schools, in Wednesday’s Congressional Record.
The 16 schools received silver and bronze designations in the magazine’s first ever high school rankings, which measured student standardized test performance, the academic success of disadvantaged students, and the quality of the coursework. Texico and Logan received bronze awards.
