Curry County jury found a 22-year-old Clovis man guilty of armed robbery Friday, according to the District Attorney’s office.
Frank Lasky was convicted of armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, aggravated assault with intent to commit a violent felony, felon in possession of a firearm, and criminal damage.
He faces up to 28 years in prison, a press release said.
In August 2006, Lasky robbed K’s Oriental Food Store at 1548 N. Thornton, the release said.
After forcing an employee to empty the cash register at gunpoint, Lasky demanded money from her purse and fired two shots inside the store before fleeing on foot, the release said.
Lasky will be sentenced in approximately 60 days after he undergoes a pre-sentencing diagnostic.
