Police have made two more arrests in connection with the June 30 burglary and arson of a local family’s home, bringing the total arrests in the case to three, according to a Clovis Police Department report.

James Johnson, 18, and a 16-year-old female, both of Clovis, were arrested Wednesday, charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary.

Johnson was released on $10,000 bond, jail officials said.

Juvenile detention center officials said they could not say whether the 16-year-old female was being held or had been released because she is a minor.

Lonnie “Dewayne” Allsup II, 18, was arrested in connection with the incident and released on a $10,000 bond Friday.

Also sought on warrants in connection with the incident are Holly Scott, 18, Steffanie Michaels, 18, and Thomas Smerer, 20. They have not been apprehended, according to police.

Allsup’s attorney, Tye Harmon, declined comment and attempts to reach the others were unsuccessful.

The home of Cannon Air Force Base Master Sgt. Vince Bowers was burglarized over a 12-hour period beginning June 30. The incident ended in a fire.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges may result, the release said.

Police said anyone with information on the whereabouts of Scott, Michaels and Smerer can call Curry County Crime Stoppers at 763-7000 or Clovis detective Randy Pitcock at 763-9470.
