Clovis Area Transit System will begin taking reservations at 8 a.m. Monday for after-school transportation the coming school year, according to a C.A.T.S. news release.
Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and will be taken until the service is completely booked, which usually occurs within two weeks, the release reads.
The number of reservations placed at each school and the available drivers and vehicles determine the routes. Once a route is filled, names of children are placed on a wait list.
Reservations for the service can be taken only from those who are ineligible to use the public school bus system and require the service at least three days a week.
C.A.T.S. is not able to provide service to school.
Reservations may be placed by calling the office at 769-7910, 769-7911 or 769-7912.
