RENO, Nev. — Clovis High grad Travis Reid has shot even-par 72 each of the first two days in the Western Athletic Golf tournament, helping the Aggies to sixth place with today’s final round remaining.

Teammate Kevin Lozares has also shot 72 on each of the first two days, leaving the Aggies pair in a tie for 18th place. NMSU is currently sixth at 2-over 578.

“Travis and Kevin ae playing really well, and as a team our scores are really balanced,” Aggies coach Scott Leiberwirth said. “If we can eliminate a few mistakes we tend to make, we’ll lower our scores and be where we should be.”

Host Nevada is at 554 and leads second-place Boise State by 10 shots.
