What: The contents of a time capsule buried in 1957 will be revealed. The event is part of a year-long celebration of Clovis’ 100th anniversary.
When: 2 p.m. today
Where: The time capsule was buried in front of what was then the Clovis City Hall and what is now Fire Station 1 at Fourth and Mitchell streets.
Quotable: “We are really looking forward to this ceremony. It’s going to be really interesting to see what our forebears placed in the time capsule, and we would like to invite the community to come out and join in the ceremony — it’s going to be a lot of fun,” Chairman of Clovis’ 100th Anniversary Committee Raymond Mondragon said.
