Student profile: Jimenez

By Marlena Hartz: CNJ staff writer

Brittni Jimenez is a senior at Clovis High School. She is the daughter of Johnny Jimenez Jr. and Kim Garcia.

What is so great about your favorite sport? Soccer is very physical and competitive. It gives me such an adrenaline rush. I just love it.

If I could do anything, I would… buy my parents homes and make them retire early so they don’t have to work again.

What is your greatest hope? To have a successful career in medicine.

What is your favorite smell? I love the way vanilla smells. It’s sweet and makes me hungry.

What do you not like about school? I hate that we have a different schedule every other day. The schedule has been changing since our junior year.

Honors received: University of New Mexico Star Scholar, Clovis High School Student of the Month, and CHS Student Rotarian

School Activities: CHS track, CHS soccer, and CHS Honor Society

Church/community activities: I donate blood and I have helped coach CYSA

Hobbies: Softball, drawing and baby-sitting

Future plans: I plan to attend Texas Tech University, go to medical school and become a pediatrician.
