Leadership program taking applications

Leadership New Mexico is accepting applications for the 2007-2008 Core Program.

The Leadership New Mexico Core program is a 10-month program designed to identify, teach and challenge established leaders of the state with a curriculum that addresses critical issues affecting New Mexico, according to news release.

Clovis graduates include Curry County Manager Dick Smith, Mayor David Lansford and Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ernie Kos.

Clovis Schools’ Superintendent Rhonda Seindenwurm is currently participating in the program.

Employers, community organizations and individuals may nominate candidates. Applicants may also nominate themselves.
