The “man-thing” was huge as a dinosaur in a horrendous land of nature gone mad, according to movie promotions. … Clovis’ acting police chief Pat Graef was cracking down on those who were parking in alleys and pet owners who didn’t keep their animals penned. The Clovis News-Journal reported fire lanes were being blocked in the alleys and residents were complaining that dogs were digging up flower beds. … And Clovis’ Donald T. Sawyer Jr., a family and marriage mediator, was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.
