Student profile: Elliott

Scott Elliott is a senior at Clovis High School. He is the son of Bryan and Kathy Elliott.

Who is your favorite entertainer? Owen Wilson. He is hilarious in all his movies.

What is your favorite taste? Barbecue sauce. I put it on everything.

What is your favorite theme song? Boston’s “Peace of Mind,” but I also love listening to the CD of the band’s performance of “Jupiter.”

What is your favorite smell? My girlfriend Alexis’ perfume.

What is your most embarrassing moment? When my mom told everyone listening to KSMX that I dove like a golden retriever.

Offices held: CHS band vice president, soccer team captain

Honors received: Who’s Who Among American High School students, CHS Band Esprit de Corps recipient, Most Improved Band Junior, National Society of High School Scholars, Homecoming King, Junior and Senior Class Favorite, three varsity letters in soccer

Church/community activities: Parkland Baptist Church youth group and children’s drama team

Hobbies: Playing soccer, skiing and church activities

Future plans: Looking to attend Eastern New Mexico University or University of New Mexico for communications and marriage and family later on.
