Clovis man sentenced to nine years in prison

A 30-year-old Clovis man was sentenced Friday to nine years in prison on felony burglary and drug charges, according to a press release from the 9th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

Harvey Whitley was convicted of two counts of aggravated burglary, two counts of larceny, receiving stolen property and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, the release said.

The charges stem from four incidents.

Whitley will be placed on five years of supervised parole upon his release.
