SANTA FE — Junior Jasmine McDonald and sophomore Lainey Flatow recorded 10 kills apiece Thursday night as the Clovis High volleyball team downed Santa Fe High 25-14, 25-20, 25-17.

Siobhan Flatow added seven kills and Haleigh Marshall collected five for the Lady Wildcats (6-4), who led virtually all the way against the Lady Demons.

CHS coach Darrel Ray said the Lady Cats had a solid all-around game, including on defense.

“It rained since we got here, but it didn’t put a damper on how we played,” Ray said. “The two middles (McDonald and Lainey Flatow) did a great job.

“Overall, all the kids performaed well. It might have been our best defensive game of the year.”

Clovis also took the junior varsity match 25-19, 25-19.
