Vivien I. McIntosh, 71, of Farwell died Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at Farwell Convalescent Center.
She was born April 18, 1935, in Wellsville, Ohio, to George and Inez Spriggs . She married Robert R. McIntosh on Oct. 24, 1953, in Wellsville. She was a homemaker. She and her husband were stationed at Cannon Air Force Base from 1970 to 1973. After her husband’s death in 1997, she returned to Clovis.
She was a Camp Fire Girls and Girl Scouts leader. She taught preschool when her husband was stationed overseas.
She loved traveling, gardening, bird watching and doing crafts, family members said.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Rusty McIntosh (and wife, Kathy) of Clovis and Daniel McIntosh (Alisha) of Seattle, Wash.; four daughters, Kathy Williams (Jim) of Junction City, Kan.; Kari McIntosh of Calif., Kristi Slayton (Jeff) of Rapid City, S.D., and Jaminleigh McIntosh of Clovis, a brother, Charles Spriggs (Dorothy) of Hanoverton, Ohio; a sister, Jean Johnson of King City, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren
