Tommy Lee Trujillo Jr., 69, of Clovis died Sunday, May 14, 2006, at his home.
Born June 11, 1936, to Tom and Paula Sandoval Trujillo in Clovis, he married Helen Garcia on Nov. 10, 1954, in Clovis. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He served in the New Mexico National Guard and was a member of American Legion Post 25.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mark Trujillo Sr.; and sister, Marie Moreno.
Survivors include his wife of Clovis; daughters, Phyllis Quintana (and husband, Kenneth) and Maria “Pita” Gutierrez (Joe), all of Clovis; sons, Tommy Joe Trujillo and George A. Trujillo, both of Clovis, and Troy Trujillo (Diana) of Amarillo; sisters, Judy Olona of Las Cruces and Marcy White of Clovis; 11 grandchildren, April Reames, Dominic J. Quintana, Mark A. Trujillo Jr., Kendra Trujillo, Francisco Trujillo, Elena Trujillo, Jose Gutierrez, Ignacio Gutierrez, Jesika Trujillo, George A. Trujillo Jr. and Michael Trujillo; and six great-grandchildren, Traejn Reames, Destiny Garcia, Savannah Garcia, Jonathon Reese, Tazia Hernandez and Trey Hernandez.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Father Sotero Sena will officiate.
Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
