Constance Ealy Jones, 95, of Clovis died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Plains Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 8, 191, in Caldwell County, Texas, to Walter Edward Lawler and Mary Lona Field Lawler.
She owned and operated Ealy Furniture for 67 years from 1939 to 2006. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clovis and the Altrusa Club, which she had joined in 1951.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Earl C. Ealy; her second husband, Emmett Jones; sister, Theresa Patton; and brother, Maurice Lawler.
Survivors include her sister, Edrie Elliott of Austin, Texas; daughter, Norma Patterson of Clovis; son, Dwayne Ealy (and wife, Diane) of Laguna Hills, Calif.; stepdaughters, Nelda Sandefer of Midland, Texas, Twila Guthrie (Bill) of Guthrie, Okla., Saundra Webber (Joseph) of Cantonment, Fla., and Chris Sorgen (Terry) of Germantown, Tenn.; and several nieces.
Rev. Joel Horne will officiate services.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Joseph Webber, Terry Sorgen, Dale Frost, Tom Alexander, Bill Guthrie and Ricky Ray.
