5/4 Police blotter

Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

Officers were called to Hillcrest Park at 8:30 a.m. April 27 in reference to a man harassing people. A man reported that another man had come into the bathroom while he was urinating and stood beside him staring at his genitals and when he left the bathroom the man followed, asking him if he wanted to have sex.

Officers arrested the suspect for charges of harassment in the zoo parking lot.

An officer was called to Texico High School on April 27 for a narcotic search.

With the help of a drug dog, the officer found residue of marijuana on one vehicle and a baggy of marijuana in the glovebox of a second vehicle.

A student was arrested and turned over to the juvenile detention center.

An officer was called to an office in the 1000 block of Sutter 3 p.m. Saturdat in reference to a woman reporting a battery on her son. The woman said her son had been struck on the side of the head by someone sitting behind him. The officer saw a lump on the side of the boys head. He told police he didn’t know why the other student punched him. A warrant was obtained for battery.

An officer responded at approximately 3 a.m. Sunday to a convenience store in the 1200 block of West Seventh Street for a domestic disturbance.

They met with a man who said his wife had struck his face and scratched his neck, hand and she had also hit his vehicle with a wrench.

Unable to locate his wife, police issued a warrant for the woman.
