Richard M. Snell, 71, of Clovis, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born Aug. 2, 1934, to Marion Matthew and Bertha Ann Martin Snell in Clovis. He was an attorney and practiced law for 30 years in Clovis before retiring to his horse and cattle ranch in Ranchvale.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Edwin Snell.
Survivors include his life partner, Vicki Bradley; sisters, Sue Fulcer (and husband, Harold) of Portales and Jane Hayman of Fort Collins, Colo.; son, Sam Snell (Julie) of Clovis; daughter, Susan Hartman of St. Petersburg, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Samson, Stetson and Edwin Snell, all of Clovis, Brandy, Brooke and Natalie Hartman, all of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Miranda Walton of Clovis; three great-grandchildren, Tyler and Nathan Hartman and Ciayana Wilson of St. Petersburg; and friend, David Travis of Clovis.
