Esteban Lopez, 22, of Clovis, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, in Clovis.
Born Sept. 24, 1983, to Victor and Margarita Vega Lopez in El Paso, Texas, he was a lifelong Clovis resident. He married Heather Guebara on Nov. 14, 2005, in Clovis.
He attended Clovis Community College, where he studied radiology, and worked at Hacienda Home Center in Clovis. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Family members said he enjoyed video games and golfing, and he loved his daughter and his family.
He is survived by his wife, his daughter, Noel Lopez, two stepsons, Nicolas Guebara and Anthony Guerra; his stepdaughter, Dezma Guerra-Guebara, his parents, and his brother, Jesus Lopez, all of Clovis; his grandmother, Manuela Vega of Las Puentes, Mexico; grandfather, Elias Lopez of Guadalupe, Victoria, Mexico; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Guadalupe Vega, and grandmother, Socorro Esquibel.
A rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Father Sotero Sena will officiate services.
Cremation will follow services at High Plains Crematory. Pallbearers will be Danny Lucero, Mark Rosas, Greg Lopez, Anastacio Urioste, Antonio Garcia and Jimmy Vela.
Honorary pallbearers are his family and employees at Hacienda Home Center.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home.
