Jerry Holland, 41, of Roswell died Thursday, April 13, 2006, in Roswell.
Born Aug. 1, 1964, in Clovis, he graduated from Roswell High School in 1982 and in 1984 from TVI in Albuquerque with a degree in diesel mechanics. Since returning to Roswell, he had been employed by Estes International, New Mexico Machinery, Precision Electric and Ag Services.
He was a member of Parkland Baptist Church in Clovis, attended First Church of the Nazarene in Roswell, Hoffmantown Church in Albuquerque and Church on the Move. He enjoyed snow skiing, camping, hunting and woodworking, family members said.
He is survived by his mother, Carmelita Dosher Holland and companion, Dennis Lake; his father, Larry Holland (and wife, Jan); sister, Kim Pope (David), two nephews, Trevor and Brighton, all of Roswell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Thelma Dosher and John and Thelma Holland.
Dr. Herbert Bergstrom of Lubbock will officiate services. Burial will follow in South Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Pope, Joe Lueras, Mike Dosher, Jamie Dosher, Mike Powers and Leroy Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Stone, Benny James, Jim Jolliff, John Kopcik, Dean Heimmermann, Todd Haley, Doug Helmstetler and Bob Cron.
Arrangements are by Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory.
