Deputy James “Jimmy” McGrane Jr., 38, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Terajas.
Family members said he proudly served the citizens of Bernalillo County for more three years with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lorraine McGrane.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Majewski McGrane, formerly of Clovis; parents, Jim Sr. and Rita McGrane; a sister, Ida Tinguely (and husband, John); a brother-in-law, Dale Reames (Tina); niece and goddaughter, Alexandria Tinguely; nephew and godson, Dylan Reames; and numerous extended family members.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE, Albuquerque.
Interment is at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Albuquerque.
Friends may visit French Mortuary Chapel on University Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday.
The family has suggested memorials to the Boys & Girls Club of Albuquerque, P.O. Box 3963, 87190-3963.
