Harold Hardy Thrasher, 89, of Pampa, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, in Pampa.
He was born March, 18, 1916, in Cooke County, Texas, and came to Amarillo in 1921, where he lived until 1936. In 1936, he moved to Canadian, Texas, and resided there until moving to Pampa in 1950. He married Juanita Pendergraft on April 1, 1938, in Canadian. She died in 1984.
He was a conductor for Santa Fe railway for 37 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, United Transportation Union No. 1313 in Amarillo, Canadian Masonic Lodge No. 855, and Pampa Senior Citizens Center.
He was proceeded in death by his wife; two brothers, Joe Thrasher and J.M. Thrasher; a sister, Alta Faye McGeehee; and a grandson, Dale Glen Collins.
Survivors include a son, Harold L. Thrasher of Clovis; a daughter, Wanda Faye Caldera of Pampa; a brother, Bob Thrasher of Pampa; three grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
