Wilfred Reyes Salas, 19, of Clovis, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born Oct. 26, 1986, to Wilfred and Velma Quintana Salas in Portales. He worked as a milker at a local dairy.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Demetrio Salas; and cousin, Richard Salas.
Survivors include his mother, Velma Valdez; step-father Joe Valdez, both of Clovis; father, Wilfred Salas of Clovis; brother, Victor Robledo of Clovis; two grandmothers, Rose Garcia (and husband, Isidro) of Clovis and Celina Quintana of Clovis; grandfather, Pat Quintana of Texico; companion, Vanessa Baca of Clovis; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
A Rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Father Sotero Sena is officiating.
Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be Hugo Ochoa, Louie Delgado, Antonio Enriques, Ryan Martinez, Johnathan Carver, David Griego, Joo Yung Han and Joel Jass.
Honorary pallbearers will be Edward, Orlando and Demetrio Salas and friends and family.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Wilfred Salas Family Fund c/o Citizens Bank of Clovis.
