L.C. Robinson, 89, of Clovis, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, in Kannapolis, N.C.
She was born on Aug. 26, 1916, in Coolidge, Texas, to Eddie and Minnie Page Johnson. She married Robert Robinson in 1939 in Coolidge.
She worked in housekeeping for the Civil Service at Cannon Air Force Base and was a member of the First Church of God in Christ. She loved to fish and cook rolls for the state fair competition, family members said.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons, Willie, Louis and James Robinson; three daughters, Murlen, Katherin and Ida; four brothers, Willie, Major, Eddie and Henry; and three sisters, Mabel Gill, Lucille Large, Alma McCall.
She is survived by two sons, Robert J. Robinson Jr. of Clovis and Paul Scott Robinson of San Diego; four daughters, Mary Williams and Betty Jones, both of San Diego, Alice Graham of Kannapolis, N.C., and Barbara Ikner of Atlanta; 70 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
Bishop W. Charles Green will officiate services.
Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
Pallbearers are Major, Earl, James, John and Nathaniel Johnson, and Harry Culliver.
Honorary pallbearers are Mshawi Ikner, James Robinson Jr., James Corwin Harris, Tyrone Graham, Eric Jones, Ricky Williams, Willie Graham Jr., Alex Robinson, Reggie Robinson and Kenneth Bair.
