Benigno Sena “Benny”’ Pacheco, 78, of Clovis died Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center
He was born March 30, 1927, in Wilcox, Ariz., to Rudolfo and Arcelia Sena Pacheco.
He married Tiodora “Lola” Griego Sept. 4, 1950, in Hereford, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a welder for AT&SF Railroad, retiring after 26 1/2 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
He loved poker, conquian and pool, family members said.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Sally Pacheco and Rose Mary Pacheco; and a sister, Antonia Romero.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Benny Jr. Pacheco (and wife, Pauline) of Clovis and Luis Pacheco (Aida) of Muleshoe; a daughter, Vivian Jimenez (Juan) of Clovis; a sister, Elena Saiz of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Sotero Sena is officiating.
Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. (CST) Tuesday at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Hereford, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Jimenez, Johnny Jimenez, Fermine Pacheco, Louie Pacheco, Sergio Gonzalez, and Rudy Padilla.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Padilla, Manuel Romero and Leo Saiz Jr.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home Clovis.
