Herminia Jimenez, 75, of Clovis, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 2, 1930, in Riviera, Texas, to Pablo and Leonicia Gonzales Suarez.
She married Manuel S. Jimenez on Aug. 10, 1951, in Edinburgh, Texas.
She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Pedro Suarez; and two grandchildren, Tony Garcia and Jennifer Jimenez.
She is survived by four sons, Juan Manuel Jimenez (and wife, Vivian), Roberto Jimenez, Manuel Jr. Jimenez (Elizabeth) and Oscar Jesse Jimenez (Rozanne), all of Clovis; three daughters, Sofia Segura of Hurst, Texas, Yolanda (Tomas) Vasquez of Farwell and Anna Maria Jimenez (and companion, Robert Tafoya) of Clovis; 20 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Father David Contreras will officiate.
Burial will take place at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Hereford, Texas.
Nicholas Segura, Demesio Mendoza, Roberto Jimenez Jr., Manuel Jimenez III, Jeremy Jimenez and Juan Jimenez Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
Felipe Segura, Mark Karges Jr., Steven Segura, Jerry Garcia, Oscar Jesse Jimenez Jr. and Max Villareal will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in The Chapel, 1500 Thornton.
A meal will be served at noon (CST) Tuesday at St. Jose Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Hereford, Texas.
