Tammy Gail Carter, 47, of Texas, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, in Dallas.
She was born Aug. 4, 1958, in New Orleans to Bessie Orville and Jack Carter.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Louis Gauna, Sr.; paternal grandparents, George and Nora Carter; a brother, Jack “Buster” Carter; and a sister, Edith Coleman.
Survivors include two sons, Cruz Silva Torres III of Garden Grove, Calif., and Carlo Fernandez of Plano, Texas; her maternal grandmother, Corina Gauna of Farwell; her mother, Bessie Ovalle of Clovis; father and step-mother, Jack and Bertha Carter of Temple, Texas; two sisters, Roni Fitzgerald of Temecula, Calif., and Sheila Carter of Temple, Texas; six brothers, Tony Carter of Columbus, Ohio, Delfino “Joe” Montoya of Clovis, Brian Carter, Jimmy Carter, Billy Carter, Charles Carter, Robert Carter (and wife, Connie) and Jason Carter (Amanda), all of Temple, Texas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service was held Nov. 10 in Sunnyvale, Texas.
Internment took place in Fort Sumner.
Arrangements are by New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas.
