Carrasco, Jack

Jack Thomas “Jacky” Carrasco, 50, of Midland, Texas, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, in Taylor, Texas.

He was born June 15, 1955, to Augustine and Maltilde Silva Carrasco in Clovis. He worked for the railroad and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Light House Mission.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Tiger Hennessy.

Survivors include a son, Jack Ashton Carrasco (and fiancee, Vina Nachuo) of Mountain Home, Utah; six brothers, Hank Carrasco (and wife, Kathy) of Scottsdale, Ariz., Phillip Carrasco (Maria) of Clovis, Augie Carrasco (Renee) of Round Rock, Texas, Anthony Carrasco (Nancy) of Round Rock, Texas, Charles Carrasco of Clovis and Joseph Carrasco (Lyndsey) of Midland, Texas; six sisters, Penny Sanchez (Jaime) of Albuquerque, Joyce Baca (Joe) Francine Garcia (Steve) of Clovis, Felicia Joy (Paul) of Clovis, Elena Corrales (David) of Midland, Texas, and Dorothy Carrasco of Clovis; 34 nieces and nephews; and 14 great-nieces and nephews.

Deacon Daniel Chavez, Richard Gomez and Bobby Gentry are officiating.

Burial followed at Mission Garden of Memories.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Chavez, Paul Romero, Luis Huerta, Jerry Hernandez, Robert Romero, Tommy Freeman and Boyd Lunsford.
