Baskett semifinalist for national honor

New Mexico senior wide receiver Hank Baskett has been named one of 15 finalists for the Biletnikoff Award, presented annually to the nation’s top wide receiver.

A 2000 Clovis High graduate, the 6-foot-4, 220-pound former prep quarterback has flourish in the Lobos’ expanded passing attack in 2005 with 65 catches for 1,063 yards and nine TDs.

The Biletnikoff Award is presented by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club to the NCAA’s Top Wide Receiver. Last year’s recipient was Braylon Edwards of Michigan.
