Guadalupe Hullinger of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at her home.
She was born July 1, 1930, in Clovis to Donicio and Mario Galla Huerta. She traveled with her husband for 30 years of military life.
Family members said she was a very giving and caring person who was always ready to help someone in need or comfort. Although she worked out of the home for many years at a variety of tasks, her main focus was always on her family and friends. She was talented at arts and crafts and loved to cook, family members said.
Survivors include her husband, William P. Hullinger; daughter, Sharon Stehlik (and husband Robe) of Oahu, Hawaii; son, Aaron Hullinger of Tacoma, Wash.; sisters, Petra Rodriquez and Lola Loretto (Manuel); brother, Paul Huerta (Pat); five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Burial will take place in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
