Academic’s professionalism appreciated

CNJ Readers

We would like to express appreciation to Dale Fullerton for the many years he has invested his life to making Clovis’ schools and athletics better.

Not only has Dale been a dedicated, reliable day-to-day school professional, he has spent untold hours in the trenches seeing to details and completing plans that often required after-hours work when no one was there to notice or appreciate his efforts.

He is a strong leader and a friend and an encourager to teachers, coaches, students and athletes.

He leaves Clovis at the end of this semester to become principal at Bovina High School.

Bovina is fortunate to have him on board.

Expanding Clovis needs cleanup

My wife and I recently visited family in Clovis. It was nice to see the town is expanding and prosperous.

However, we were disappointed to see how some areas are becoming overrun with junk cars and refuse.

It is a shame to see this occur in a town that has much to offer.
