Aline McCaig, 81, of Duncan, Okla. and formerly of Portales, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, in Edmond, Okla.
She was born Nov. 2, 1923, in Hulen, Okla., to Maston and Amanda “Chasteen” Cook. She married Henry McCaig on Sept. 19, 1942, in Comanche County, Okla. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church West of Duncan, Okla.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Jimmy McCaig (and wife, Nona) of Hobbs, Wayne McCaig (Linda) of Tulsa, Okla., and L.B. McCaig (Lee Ann) of Orem, Utah; three brothers, Gerald E. Cook of Duncan, Okla., Junior Wayne Cook of Round Rock, Texas, and James R. Cook of Cache, Okla.; four sisters, Loretta Smith, DeLoris Foster, Leona Baker, all of Duncan, Okla., and Eleanor Couch of Marlow, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pastor Jerry Couch and Randy Southerland will officiate the services.
Burial will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jerry Wayne Cook, David McCaig, Danny Foster, Val Ray Ammer, Don Chisum and Shawn McCaig.
