10/30 Court Dispositions

The following criminal dispositions were filed in the 9th Judicial District Court between Oct. 5 and Oct. 19:

• Steven Lujan, 22, was found guilty by a jury of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools, concealing identity, failure to carry proof of financial responsibility, evidence of registration signed and exhibited on demand and operating a vehicle without required headlamps. He was ordered to serve one year, five months and 27 days of supervised probation.

• Ruby Anna Rodriguez, 24, pled guilty to fraudulent use of a credit card, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy to aggravated assault upon a peace officer, resisting, evading or obstructing an officer and conspiracy to tampering with evidence. She was ordered to serve 13 months of imprisonment followed by 18 months of supervised probation and to pay all fees and fines.

• David Jones, 41, pled guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm or destructive device by a felon. He was ordered to serve three years of supervised probation and to pay a $100 DNA identification fee.

• Christopher Oborny, 41, pled guilty to driving under the influence of liquor or drugs (fifth offense) and possession of controlled substance. He was ordered to serve one year less 6 days in prison followed by 12 months of supervised probation, to pay all fines and fees and to pay a $100 DNA identification fee.

• Sherri Lopez, 51, pled guilty to criminal trespass and knowingly entering. She was ordered to serve one year less two days supervised probation.

• Carlos Gayton, 41, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance. He was ordered to serve 18 months of supervised probation and to pay all fees and fines, including $100 for DNA identification.

• Tabitha Burgess, 21, pled guilty to distribution of marijuana and to possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. She was ordered to serve seven months less 13 days of imprisonment followed by 18 months of supervised probation and to pay all fees and fines, including a $100 DNA identification fee.

• Brian Baldwin, 31, pled guilty to driving under the influence of liquor or drugs (fourth offense), driving while license suspended or revoked and failure to carry proof of financial responsibility. He was ordered to serve six months less one day of imprisonment followed by 12 months of supervised probation and to pay all fines and fees, including a $100 DNA identification fee.

• Augustine J. Gonzalez, 24, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was ordered to serve 18 months of supervised probation and to pay all fines and fees, including a $100 DNA identification fee.

• Hector Cabral, 22, pled guilty to attempted possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of a controlled substance. He was ordered to serve one year of supervised probation and to pay all fines and fees.

• Kendra L. Payton, 29, pled guilty to receipt of stolen property (value between $250 and $2500). She was ordered to serve 18 months of supervised probation and to pay all fines and fees including a $100 DNA identification fee.

• Samuel Ochoa, 24, pled guilty to conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance by distribution and to possession of a controlled substance (cocaine). He was ordered to serve 15 months less 5 days of imprisonment and to pay all fines and fees, including a $100 DNA identification fee.

• Tracie L. Campbell, 45, pled guilty to driving under the influence of liquor or drugs (sixth offense). She was ordered to serve six months of imprisonment followed by one year of supervised probation and to pay all fines and fees, including a DUI prevention fee and a $100 DNA identification fee.
