Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

At 1 a.m. Monday a 49-year-old woman caller threatened to kill herself at her home on the 100 block of Wallace St.
The woman told police she was recently raped and was upset.

She said she had taken over the counter sleeping medication, and told police she wanted to be placed into protective custody.

She was transported to a local hospital and later placed in protective custody at the Curry County Adult Detention Center.

At 8:30 p.m. Saturday police responded to a female caller’s home in the 1000 block of Christopher St. in reference to criminal damage done to her car.

The 31 year-old woman told police the passenger-side rear window of her truck had been shot out by a BB gun Thursday. The officer noted that the window was shattered with a BB sized hole in the middle of the window.

At 6 p.m. Friday police responded to a report of forgery.

A 20-year-old woman in the 1300 block of E. 11th St. told police someone had forged her name on checks stolen from her previous residence.

The woman told police she just moved from the 1200 block of Dartmouth St. because the house had been burglarized. She told police someone tried to $3,000 worth of checks at a Clovis bank.

At 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday police responded to a report that someone had thrown a large rock through the living room window of a residence in 600 block of Yucca Ave.

The caller’s son told police he thought the incident may be related to a fight he was involved in at an earlier date.

The man told police the window would cost $500 to replace.
Police have no suspects.
