A poem by Stephanie Turner, a tenth-grader at Clovis High School, was published in Young Poets, the 2005 poetry edition.
Stephanie is the daughter of Steve and Sandy turner of Clovis and the granddaughter of Caleb and Donna Chandler.
Jennifer Stovall and Cole Bartlett, both of Clovis, were joined in marriage on Sept. 3 at the La Quinta Suites in Clovis.
Judge Ribble B. Holloman, a friend of the family, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Terry and Pamela Stovall of Texico. She is the granddaughter of Gene Stovall of Texico and of Vernon and Idella Laman of Artesia.
The bridegroom is the son of Bart Bartlett of Bovina and of Cindy Breaker of Clovis. He is the grandson of Connie Fields of Clovis and of Houston and Laura Bartell of Bovina.
Bridesmaids were Piper Cotham and Julie Simmons. Groomsmen were Gage, Joel, and Jade Bartell. Jill and Todd Davis served as candle-lighters. Stuart and Marcus White served as ushers.

Roy F. and Patsy Vaughan of Las Cruces announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Codi Justine Vaughan of Laverne, Okla., to James Ryan Malone, also of Laverne, Okla., son of Gary and Karla Malone of Grady.
The couple will exchange vows on Feb. 25 at The Silver Spur Ranch in Bandera, Texas. Reception follows.

Walter Hoskins of Clovis celebrated his 90th birthday Saturday at the home of Justin Barnes in Pleasant Hill.
The celebration was hosted by Phyllis and Bill Hoskins, Patti Jackson, Kim and Justin Barnes, Christy and Dan Jackson, Katie and Phill Devey and Dawn and Phillip Hoskins.
Walter Hoskins was born Oct. 8, 1915 in Gonzales, Texas. He and Katherine have been married for 63 years. He has two children, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Dana and Richard Poe of Clovis are the parents of Hayden Ryder, a 7-pound, 5-ounce girl born Sept. 12 at the Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
Grandparents are Dan and Pat Dunnahoe of Clovis, and Rick and Susan Poe, also of Clovis.
Great-grandparents are Dorothy Zoeller of Clovis, Ada Poe of Clovis, Connie Callaway of Palestine, Texas, and Dannetta and Coy Little of Wolfforth, Texas.
