9/22 Student Profile

Billy Stephenson is a senior at Clovis High. He is the son of Sherri and Rick Stephenson.

What’s your favorite TV show, past and present? My current is the series “Lost.” My old favorite show is a series called “Reboot.”

What do you envision your life being like in 10 years? Flying an F-22 or F-35 for the Air Force.

Who is your hero and why? I would say my dad is my hero. He has done so well with his life. I hope I can be as successful as him someday.

If I could do anything, I would … fly.

What is your greatest fear? Failure or not being able to do anything with my life.

Offices held: Kitty Hawk Honor Society Commander (ROTC), assistant tuba section leader

Honors received: Military Order of the Purple Heart, Communication Award, National Junior Honor Society, National Honor Society, Who’s Who Among American High School Students, American Scholar, Teen of the Week

School activities: Band, ROTC, National Honor Society

Hobbies: Playing on the computer, playing my tuba.

Future plans: To attend West Texas A&M University to get a degree in genetics and hopefully find my way into flight school.
