Honors
Taylor
Nancy Taylor of Altrusa Internal, Inc. of Clovis was recently elected to serve on the board of Trustees of the Altrusa International Foundation, Inc.
The foundation was established in 1962 to assist Altrusa clubs and other organizations carry out community service programs.
Taylor has been a member of the Altrusa since 1973 and has served as president of the local club and Governor of District Ten of Altrusa.
She is the executive director of Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico.

Idsinga/Collins
Doug and Debbie Idsinga of Portales announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Darci Idsinga of Portales, to Denver Collins of Portales, son of Steve and Janet Collins of Portales.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. on Oct. 28, 2005, at Cabo, San Lucas, Mexico.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Portales High School and is self-employed.
The prospective groom is a 1994 graduate of Portales High School and is self-employed.

Paul and Jeanneen Engrav of Rushford, Minn., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kristina Kaye Engrav of Phoenix, to Justin Ryan Crowder, son of Randy and Susie Crowder of Clovis.
The couple will exchange vows Aug. 5, 2005, at Diamond Head Beach Park, Honolulu, Hawaii.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of the college of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn.
She is employed at Banner Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Institute in Phoenix.
The prospective groom is a 1996 graduate of New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
He is employed at Nothing But Noodles in Scottsdale, Ariz

Morris/Robert
Stacy Morris of Logan and Clay Roberts of Logan were joined in marriage July 23, 2005, at Ned Houk Park in Clovis.
The Rev. Darrell Sullivan performed the single-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of the late Jack Morris of Estelline, Texas, and Richard and Vickie Ferguson of Portales.
She is the granddaughter of Jewel Morris and Kenneth and Evelene Moore, all of Estelline.
The bridegroom is the son of Ralph “Chief” and Peggy Roberts of Logan.
He is the grandson of Peggy Fresier of Tucumcari and Lynn and Mindy Jarry of Logan.
The maid of honor was Carrie Bomar.
The bridesmaids were Stephanie Osborn, Ashley Robertson and Kayla Richey.
The bestman was Rhuston Rock.
The groomsmen were Travis Roberts, Dustin Robertson and Jason Saiz.
Ushers were Trevor Mitchell and Matt Moore.
The flowergirl was Rylin Rock and the ring bearer was Kaci Jarry.
The couple will reside in Logan.

Grandy
Ash and Helen Grandy of Tucson, Ariz. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 17, 2005 in Tucson, Ariz.
The celebration was hosted by their five children, Mark and Sheila Gentry of Alamogordo, Mark and Dolly Hughes of Tucson, Ariz., Suzy O’Rourke of Beaver Creek, Col., Debbie Sawatzky of Westminister, Col., and Ace Grandy of Round Rock, Texas.
The couple was married July 27, 1955, in Ft. Worth, Texas.
They have 16 grandchildren.
He is a retired Park and Recreation Director for the City of Clovis.
She is a retired elementary school secretary from Barry Elementary and James Bickley School.

Eldon and Marie Smith of Clovis celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 30, 2005, in Austin, Texas.
The celebration was hosted by their son, Ron and wife Delores Smith, grandchildren, Madelyn and Logan Smith.
The couple was married July 30, 1955, in Austin, Texas.
The have one son, and two grandchildren.
He is a retired architect.
She is a retired elementary school teacher.
Hartle
Herb and Lucy Hartle of Clovis, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6, 2005 at The Master’s Centre conference room.
The celebration was hosted by their children, Rick and Greg Hartle, and Pam Firestone.
The couple was married Aug. 6, 1955 in Sparks, Ga.
They have three children, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He is a retired Air Force sergeant and carpet installer.
She is a retired cosmetologist and food service manager.
The celebration is open to friends and relatives.
