Dorothy Hall, 79, of Portales died Sunday, July 17, 2005, at Roosevelt General Hospital in Portales.
She was born June 2, 1926, in Nashville, Ark., to Florence and Leldon D. Medlock.
She grew up in Arkansas. On Dec. 27, 1945, she married Willie Davis. The couple had five children. He died Jan. 17, 1974. She later moved to the Austin, Texas, area where she met Myron Hall and married in 1980. He died July 20, 1982.
For the past two years, she made her home in Portales near her children. Family said she enjoyed quilting, gardening, embroidery, playing bingo, traveling and playing with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, and by both of her husbands.
Survivors include two sons, Bill (and wife, Lois) Davis of Clovis and George Davis of Portales; three daughters, Willie Atwell of Granger, Texas, Vicki (and husband Danny) Gray of Llano, Texas and Sue Davis (John) Bertram of Portales; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, John L. Medlock of Indianapolis, Ind.; three sisters, Hazel Johnson, Margie Adair and Aileene Martin all of Indianapolis, Ind.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will be in Pflugerville, Texas.
