Emilio Garcia, 90, of Clovis, died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
He was born on April 15, 1915, in Borica, to Enrique and Natividad Garcia.
He married Mary Lucero in October 1940 in Santa Rosa. He was a laborer for the AT&SF Railroad. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and American Legion Post 25. Family members said he loved to dance.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife.
Survivors include a son, Macario Garcia (and wife, Gloria) of Clovis; a daughter, Theresa Rivero of Clovis; a sister, Eva Casaus of Albuquerque; and three grandchildren, Marco Garcia, Freddie Salas and Carlos Rivero.
A rosary is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Muffley Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis.
Deacon Daniel Chavez will officiate the services.
Burial will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Santa Rosa.
Pallbearers are Juan and Estella Sanchez, Santiago Hidalgo, Gloria and Marco Garcia, and Alfred Rubio.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
