Mrs. Mary Maxine Brown Sparwasser, 73, of Clovis, died Monday, June 20, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
She was born on Jan. 30, 1932, Clovis, to Columbus A. and Margrette Bryant.
She married Curtis Sparwasser on Dec. 4, 1971, in Clovis. She worked as a caregiver in her younger days, as a dish washer at the Snazzy Pig Restaurant, at the Clovis Steam Laundry, and she was a volunteer for the Salvation Army for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John Brown.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Amanda Regenhardt (and husband, Jimmy), and Sharon Fleury, all of Clovis, and Phyliss Annonson (John) of Shelbyville, Ind.; a son, Scott A. Burgess of Massachusetts; several grandchildren including, Merlin Byrd, Cheyanne, Keri and Kristoffer Regenhardt, J. D. Henry (Gina), and Mike and Jamie Annonson; and numerous relatives.
Capts. Kevin and Tammy Ray of the Salvation Army will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Grady Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Bill Fleury, Mark and Doyle Stowe, Jimmy Regenhardt, Heath Jaquess, and Scott Burgess.
Honorary pallbearers are all friends and relatives.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
