Mrs. Betty Cravy, 86, of Clovis, died Friday, June 17, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
She was born on Oct. 12, 1918, in Pueblo, Colo., to Fred and Dora Waggoner.
She married Walter Cravy on June 7, 1957, in Clovis. She was a resident of Clovis for 74 years. She was a member of the Order of the Easter Star No. 27. Family members said she loved playing the organ, fishing, visiting Branson, Mo., playing cards, cooking, baking, and crocheting.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis.
She was preceded in death by a brother, George Waggoner; and a granddaughter.
Survivors include her husband, Walter “Snap” Cravy of the home; two sons, Carl Roy Tipton (and wife, Pam) of Lubbock and Fred Lee Tipton (Sue) of Guymon, Okla.; two sons by marriage, Tommy V. Cravy (Marie) of Santa Maria, Calif. and Richard Lynn Cravy (Dee) of Amarillo; a sister, Lorraine Murphy (Bob) of Lubbock; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Darren Tipton will officiate the services assisted by Lenise McCarter.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
Pallbearers are Arnold Knight, Dan Pierce, Ryan, Daniel and Kevin Cravy, Colt Cross, Kia Tapaha, and Kipp Lester
Honorary pallbearers are Tydan Pierce, Coby Knight, Neva Marshall, Dr. Jon Shrader, and Crystalynn Tapaha.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
