Robert “Bob” Arthur Davis, 83 of Clovis, died Sunday, April 17, 2005, at the Veterans Administration Medical Hospital in Amarillo.
He was born June 8, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to John Arthur and Sara Lucia DiCastro Davis.
He graduated from high school in New York and from Columbia University. He entered the U.S. Army and was discharged in 1945. He married Bessie Browning Turpin on April 1, 1978, in Roswell. He was a laboratory technician for various hospitals including Clovis Memorial Hospital. He was a member of life member of the American Legion, D.A.V., and V.F.W.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Patricia Adrain of La Porte, Ind., and Sara Billingsley of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Scott Billingsley of Albuquerque, and Jennifer Adrian and Sarah Adrian, both of La Port, Ind.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
