Maria Guadalupe S. de Gonzalez, 92. of Clovis, died Monday, April 11, 2005, at the Retirement Ranch in Clovis.
She was born on Feb. 26, 1913, in Cerralvo Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to Matilde and Crisanta Villareal Salazar.
She married Adan Gonzalez on Sept. 16, 1934, in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. They came to the United States in 1939 and settled in San Benito, Texas. She moved to Clovis In 1974.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; a brother; and a grandson, Jorge Gonzalez.
Survivors include two sons, Adan Gonzalez (and wife, Alice) of Boise, Idaho and Sergio Gonzalez of Santa Rosa, Calif.; a daughter, Margaret Fonteno of Clovis; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clovis.
Father Sotero Sena will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
Pallbearers are Sergio Jr., Mario, Omar, and Ernie Gonzalez, Troy Wood, and Marv Shultz.
Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Retirement Ranch.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
